Start: Meet in the recreation ground car park, Stoke-by-Nayland.     OS GR: TL985363     CO6 4QX

We walk the area north of the Stour, over the R. Box to  Polstead then on to Shelley and down to Stratford St Mary with views over towards the Stour valley, returning along part of the Stour and back to Stoke following the Box. Please bring a picnic lunch. Booking in advance is not required on this walk.On the day...You may be asked to provide details for contact tracing. Please bring your own hand gel. You may want to bring a facemask too, in case you want to visit a shop, cafe or toilets. Please observe Ramblers Association coronavirus guidelines and government guidelines and respect the wishes of others regarding physical distancing. Please arrive in good time for the walk to start (ideally 10-15 minutes early).

A scenic circular walk from Bures around (but not through) Alphamstone via Lamarsh, Great Henny, Twinstead and Clees Hall.Meet at Bures station. There is a charge for parking in the station car parkPlease note that your walk leader will be arriving by train, and if there is a problem with the train service on the day, this walk may be delayed.There are no public toilets en route.Please bring a picnic lunch. Booking in advance is not required on this walk.On the day...You will be asked to provide details for contact tracing. Please bring your own hand gel.
